Statement

Born in Hong Kong in 1984 to a Maltese father and a French-American mother, artist Pria Borg-Marks has always had a fascination with the natural world
and the human form as well the relationship between the two. Currently based in Cardiff where she is raising her 5-year old daughter- budding artist Erin Presley- Pria has also called Beijing, Canberra, Hong Kong and New York home.
Pria is also a keen painter who has a sensitive eye for color and composition. She sees photography as an exciting medium able to both investigate truths
about our world and create alternate worlds. Her work has a strong sense of dream and fantasy. She has also enjoyed photographing some illustrious musicians, artists, and actors in portraits that capture the creative spirit of the city of Cardiff.
