Ffotogallery invites you to join us for a drink to celebrate the launch of Cardiff based artist Dawn Woolley’s debut publication, Visual Pleasure.

Visual Pleasure brings together artwork and research completed by Woolley over the past 4 years and includes an introductory text by the writer and psychoanalyst Darian Leader.

Woolley’s photographic and performance work is an enquiry into the act of looking and being looked at. Referring to psychoanalysis, phenomenology and feminism she examines her experience of being looked at, as a female and as a photographic object. Voyeurism and exhibitionism intertwine in deliberately provocative scenes.
