Statement

Ed Elliott is an artist specialising in sculpture. He is also a core member of arts collective British Racing Green (BRG) who often collaborate on concept driven projects.

Ed Elliott adopts and explores traditional methods and styles of sculpture as well as more contemporary installation work. Elliott has a real sense of purpose when it comes to making with communication and accessibility being key. With interests in psychology, mythology/folklore and the human consciousness, Elliott often uses a figurative aesthetic to give objects presence.

Placement has become an important aspect in the completion of recent work. Elliott is continuing the search for ideal locations for his artwork and exhibiting work throughout the UK and beyond.
