Statement

Fragmentory memories from my childhood have been a source of artistic inspiration over the past few years. This does not result from a particularly unconventional upbringing, but rather the somewhat obscure, distorted yet vivid ways in which I, as an adult, recall my past. Inevitably, from my background as a Theatre Designer, I am drawn to the idea of achieving both a cerebral and sensory involvement of the viewer. Installation, sculpture and performance provide a journey through a series of rooms that form windows to both personal and universal experiences with which the viewer can identify.
