Gill St John Griffiths
Cardiff Drawing Group
Rebecca Gould works with a range of mediums encompassing sculpture and video. Her practice encapsulates a folk-like aesthetic whilst drawing references from contemporary popular culture. She deals with an alien and unfamiliar world, reminiscent of indigenous traditions and the utopian ideals that exist within the
current pop industry.
Gould completed an MA in Fine Art, at Central Saint Martin's, London in 2005.
She has exhibited extensively in the UK and more recently in Europe.
Selected recent exhibitions include O Dreamland, curated by Cathy Lomax, Kent;
The Suitcase Project, Beaver Projects, Copenhagen; Locws International 3, Swansea;
Feel Good Feel Bad Boys and Girls, Ausberg, Germany; and Real Writers Residency, g39, Cardiff.
