Statement

Most of my artwork could be called process art, coming from the physicality & energy of making. However, as with most artists, this is based around reoccurring themes and ideas that for me our about wrapping, protection and memory.

My work has a number of themes including ideas and representation of memories, every day rituals – especially based around celebrating those areas that are usually ignored. Every day life provides a rich resource in realising some of these things. Some of my recent work has included the use of ‘dough’ both as a ‘soft’ sculptural material along with it’s connection with the domestic and femine - a move away from hard masculine materials.
