Statement

Carlos inspiration for his films comes from first-hand experience of a place or in response to a person or community. From the life of a pigeon fancier in the village of Cymmer in Wales to a Falklands veteran in Argentina, his social documentary films reflect his interest in the background stories of his subjects, which he reveals with his gentle and often humorous approach. His latest film was nominated for a Bafta Cymru best short film 2009.
