Statement

My work has a strong sense of narrative, metaphor and symbolism and important factors for me in my work are communication and sharing. It seems to me that living in our western culture with the overwhelming wealth of advertising, mass media and mass communication in our modern culture, too often people become a 'product' of urban society them selves.
There is a limit to how much information we can process on a given day and in many cases we have no choice of the quality or quantity of what we do take in. Creating art using waste materials and recycled objects is a way for me to gain and reconnection with the environment, by helping to clear the streets I feel as if I am part of the city and by seeking different avenues that aren't dependant upon the art world I hope to help people reconnect also.

I would like to be more involved in things that are happening in and around Cardiff as I have just moved here after having graduated from University of Plymouth and am a bit out of the loop here!
