Statement

I come from a small village by the seaside, My view on life was isolation and cold, when I became older I realized that human existance was more than farming. it was even more extreme, people competing against each other, pollution, industrial works and violence.
at the start I was scared and shocked but then I started to see the beauty within the human growth, it made me realise that that we undergo so many things in life and so my work relates to the city, as many people use buildings to describe the landscapes, I use the body as a building, a broken and stiff feel, the colours amber and brown to resemble rust and reds and blue for icons (trademarks) i resently used white in the background so my subject can relate space and depth in my work, hope anyone who looks at my work enjoys it :).
