Statement

My paintings contain characters that lurk deep within my imagination, each image a snapshot of my psyche if you like.

The overriding themes in my work are nostalgia from my childhood and how I (as an adult) interpret the goings on in this world.I am also fascinated by human traits such as our frailties, emotions, tendencies, dark sides, light sides, quirks etc. Such fertile territory for ideas and inspiration!
