Statement

Visual artist, studied at Aberystwyth University and Dusseldorf Academy of Fine Arts. Mainly engaged on a quest between engaging materials and the subconscious. Obsessive images find themselves reflected on lines and stains, to be retained or obscured and to lead to paths of association, memory and discovery. The final combination of image and material elements make the visual statement. Materials are simple - old newspaper will be mashed to model masks, found wood will be used for painted panels. Drawings consist of graphite and acrylic paint.
