Statement

At the heart of the work is an examination of the nature of making, or craft. How a simple physical act can completely transform how an object or material is both seen and understood. What an object becomes when purpose, and values are undermined, and it is reduced to a trace of a physical act, caught in a cycle of deconstruction and reconstruction. How then meaning becomes unfixed, and a free play of suggestion and association is set in motion.
