Newport Museum and Art Gallery. Neil McNally, curator of The Institute of Mental Health is Burning will be conducting a walk and talk at 2.30pm on Wednesday 16th November 2011. Neil will be discussing how he approached his recent intervention into the museum collections for The Institute of Mental Health is Burning - his response to and rationale behind the works on display and the artists he chose to invite to take part. The exhibition has been generally well recieved, whilst attracting some controversy too. Hear what Neil has to say about this ambitious and provocative show. NOT TO BE MISSED. Free event.
